Going Away Sonic Cakeby ~psychmeout

left for Japan about a week ago and we, her friends, decided to do a big going away party complete with this cake, which is pretty bad ass if I do say so myself.

The cake idea was collaborative effort, but

and I were the main assemblers and we spent a good 5 or so hours putting this baby together. We've both claimed dev art rights to the cake. XD

I think it came out pretty awesome. That is a fondant

molesting a fondant Sonic, or so it seems. I love that her first comment, upon seeing the cake was "I'm on top of Sonic!"
Yes, T. Yes you are.

The cake is fondant, cake mix, sugar paste (for holding it all together), mint lifesavers food-sprayed yellow (awesome idea), a chocolate bar for the bridge, and some plastic trees that appear thanks to Ryan and his amazing tree finding skillz. Oh yeah! And a ring pop for the Chaos Emerald.
