Sailor Envy

This is for 's Sailor Sins contest. You make up a scout for each of the 7 deadly sins. More are to come!

-Power Grab - uses her grabber thing to steal power items from others.
Likes: What everyone else has, the type to want only what she can't get, green things, getting someone else's stuff
Dislikes: What she has, even if she just wanted it a second before and loved it. The type to no longer like something once she has it, other people looking down on her.

Sailor Envy is always pining after what everyone else has; so much so that she has no powers of her own. Her sole ability is that she is capable of using any power item once stolen with her grabber. This makes scouts who use items (like the outer scouts and Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon) at risk. With this ability she is potentially the most powerful scout ever, but is far too fickle to hold on to any one power long enough to learn the full potential and, therefore, will probably never be such a threat. Depending on what items she steals, she can be a powerful opponent, but tends to discard what she steals after only a couple of uses because something "better" catches her eye. Technically she can hit people with her grabber and it extends for better stealing, though it's not really a technique. Sailor Envy's outfit is very plain because she is, in effect, an empty vessel for power to flow though but never really stay in. Even though her fuku is simple and more reminiscent of all the real scouts I really like how she turned out, especially with the Power Grabber idea. She and Rage are my very favorites.

Update: Now that the contest is over, of course, I had a great story line idea. If her powers can snowball and she can hold on to as many powers at a time as her body can handle, then it's possible that she'd become a threat to the Solar System senshi. I figure someone like the devious Sailor Greed could manipulate her to steal and collect powers from scouts throughout the galaxies until they showdown with the Moon group. Since Chibi Moon is so weak, but holds a Silver Crystal, it would be a main target. Sounds like an interesting story. Too bad I'll never get around to writing it out. Maybe I'll do a little comic one day, though.
