Ok, yes! Feb! It's magical! The 49ers are going to New Orleans and so am I! That's right. Psych does Mardi Gras! And the Niners finally make it to the Superbowl!!! What a bday miracle!

So excited!!! AND I get to stay for free in Naw'Lins with my sister. This is the best way to wind up broke, people.

Sorry if I haven't been around much. There's no excuse except that I'm doing stuff and trying to internet less.

Also, almost time for my bday! It's the 4th. So remember, if Valentine's day ever bums you out, just remember it's actually just the 10th day of celebration for Psychmeout's birthday. Feel free to buy some of the heart-shaped candy that (I assume) was made popular in honor of how much the world loves me. Spend time with loved ones in order to commemorate the joyous times spent with me. Give someone flowers which symbolize my allergies and my ability to stay indoors to overcome them! Ah! A truly wondrous occasion.
Oh, me! I crack me up.

Oh look! It's Stamp time! Why are there so few ridiculous Merlin stamps? The show is much too silly to be this lacking in tom foolery.

Dear Avengers Movie,
I see your ploy. You stuffed your movie so chalk full of sexy men that even non-comic women will be forced to go see it. You even have all the types of men we like. From the delicate, pale, Englishman to the quiet nerd with a wild side to the rich playboy to the buffed out, godlike jock to the straight edge all American guy to... uh... whatever Hawkeye is. Well, let me tell you a thing or two, Avengers movie! It worked. Also, I guess it was a good movie n' junk, too.

All the fan stuff for it has been pretty fun, too... Aside from a disturbing Thor on Loki trend. They're bros. D: I don't care if one of them was adopted. They didn't know that til they were adults! It's still so wrongity wrong.
But totally loving the science bromance that is Stark and Banner. RDJ and science and bromance. Three things I love.

Also just saw MIB 3. Very cute. Good enough to forgive the second one. The guy they got to play the young Tommy Lee Jones is so spot on it's scary! You actually forget it's a totally different guy if you let yourself get sucked in. But if you like the Pitbull song that goes with it don't see the music video. It's crap. They just shopped him into some movie scenes. Looksbadman.

Also (again) Sherlock. A show about a lovable jackass *cofflikeHouseDrCoxOranyoneRobertDowneyJrhaseverplayedcoff* with a nice guy sidekick. It's kind of funny, but the show really reminds me a lot of House, including the opening sequence... But the show House itself got some influence from the original Sherlock Holmes stories. It's gone full circle! Martin Freeman is an adorable man, I didn't recognize him at first, but he was a great Arthur Dent in an ok HHG2TG movie. And Benedict Cumberbatchhjkstshd however you spell it is pretty freaking great. I'm always startled that such a deep voice can come out of such a skinny man. He sounds almost exactly like Alan Rickman to me. It's a really particular drawl and it weirds me out that they sound so similar. Is it just me? Anyway, he makes for a great sociopath asshole. I'm such a sucker for the jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold characters. I really am!

Other than that, what? It's summer time beach time concert and outdoor movie time! Yay! I don't have any good beach swim suits. For someone who works at an online swim-apparel store, that's just dumb. I do have some cheapy lap suits for my own pool, but not going-out suits that actually look good on me.

And here it is, my journal. My subscription ends tomorrow and I wanted to toss something together before I forgot so I can keep this up til I get a new one. Time to llama whore! I also have a points donation pool, but I keep the widget below my journal because, frankly, it looks tacky. Donations welcome, though!
